Goods Damaged in Shipping

We ship all Gift Shop orders by the United Stated Postal Service (USPS), insured for the value of the purchase plus shipping from the time they leave our facility. All packages are thoroughly inspected for defects before being sent and leave here in superior condition. Therefore, if a package sent to you has been damaged or destroyed en route, you must contact our office promptly upon receipt of the same at either 503-845-6089 or by email at customerservice@chaliceofrepose.org to initiate the replacement process. All such claims have a 30-day time limit. The Post Office has a very specific procedure established for reporting damage claims, and if the customer does not help us by following that protocol closely, the insurance is rendered void. Items that have been damaged by the Post Office en route may be returned in exchange for a replacement of the same title as long as the customer files the necessary report. We will absorb the return shipping cost to you for such items.

Harps & Accessories

These harps are commissioned instruments, made especially for you. They are made by a luthier following your commission, and in general, once that commission has begun, you will not be able to change your mind on the details you have chosen. The maker will repair or replace, without charge, within five years from date of purchase, any instrument that he built if the materials or workmanship are defective. You must present proof of purchase from Chalice of Repose Project to verify the date of purchase.

CDs, Videos and DVDs

We cannot take back a CD, video or DVD once you have opened &/or played it. CDs, videos and DVDs that have been opened are not returnable.
